The Emilia Romagna is one of the most beautiful Italian regions, a region that managed to keep up both its rural nature and its maritime splendor. Each time someone travels to this Italian region, one can always explore new itineraries and unique experiences. Hence this International Choir Festival is definitely going to be held in an excellent location and will definitely serve as the best encounter
between different choral cultures.
This non competitive International Choir Festival is open for polyphonic choirs, gospel choirs, male or female or mixed choirs, youth choirs, alpine choirs, local parish choirs and even children choirs.
The participating choirs will have the opportunity to perform their own songs and hence spread their choral culture and traditions with the other participating choirs and the public attending for the Festival.

The Festival will be spread on 3 different evenings in three beautiful baroque churches, such as those of Rimini, Riccione, Cesena, Ravenna and Cesenatico amongst others. Each choir will be able to perform in its own style, which must be religious/sacred, given that the concerts will be held in churches. Each choir can perform “a cappella”, or accompanied by an organ or other musical instruments. The Organisation will arrange so that the church organ will be available for each performance. If the church organ, for some reason, cannot be used, it will be replaced by an electric piano/keyboard. Any other instrument must be brought by each choir. At the end of the final Festival night, all participating choirs will unite and sing one song all together.

The groups will be accommodated in 3*** star Hotels on half board OR bed and breakfast basis.

DRAFT FESTIVAL PROGRAMME
Friday 7th May
Arrival of all groups in the morning, (groups must arrive before 13 hrs). Lunch at the Hotel (if the group is on half board basis).
In the evening, the first Festival night to be held in one of the Region churches. Overnight.

Saturday 8th May
Breakfast at the Hotel
Free morning or possible optional excursions, which will be offered by the Organisation to unique places such as San Marino, Bologna,
Ravenna, Italy in Miniature, etc.
Lunch at the Hotel (if the group is on half board basis).
In the evening, the second Festival night in another baroque church. Overnight.

Sunday 9th May
Breakfast at the Hotel.
Free morning or possible optional excursions.
Lunch at the Hotel (if the group is on half board basis).
In the evening, the final Festival night, with the participation of all participating choirs. At the end of the concert, there will be official
presentations to all choirs, by the Festival Organisation. Overnight.

Monday 10th May
Breakfast at the Hotel
Departure of all groups. Depending on the departure time, it will also be possible to organise an optional excursion.

N.B.
✓ Groups can arrive or depart from Romagna, a day before or after the scheduled programme, due to flight itineraries.
Arrangements will be made according to the groups necessities.
✓ Each group is responsible for airfare/transportation to Romagna-Italy.
✓ The above is only a draft programme and maybe amended as necessary by the Organisation.
✓ The final Programme including concert venues, details and time of performances, will be defined after the Organisation has the full confirmation of all choirs participating, including the Romagna ones, around 10 days before the festival.
