Concept: the festival is dedicated to vocal groups performing choral contemporaneous song and choral, French or foreign songs, pop, rock, jazz, gospel… The sets will combine both vocal and choreographed dance & movement whilst accentuating the use of space in order to showcase the various dynamic vocal groups to the best of their ability.
Performances can be either a cappella or with musical (Ex. soundtrack, piano, musicians, beat box)

Choirs: non-professional or semi-professional – Mixed choirs, Men choirs, Women Choirs as well as Youth and Young choirs

On the initiative of Marie-Françoise Grasset, the choral conductor and Artistic & Music Director, and her association “Accords d’Air”, here is the 2020 edition of the “Mouv’ton chœur” festival, dedicated to lyrical and semi-professional choirs and orchestras rocked by music, popular song on a choreographic background.
Marie-Françoise Grasset confirms her desire to share everything she gives to her choristers and singers on this new adventure and this event that is waiting for you.
It reminds us that by its “popular” side, the choral song carries values and friendliness is addressed to all the singers: novice, initiated or professional. Indeed, before “knowing” how to sing, one must “love” to sing and share it.

Come and show off your choral & musical talent by showcasing in two or three concerts before a warm & generous audience in the Savoie region. Share your happiness of singing and move in music with other groups. Come and experience this great Festival in Savoie.

Seasonality: this new festival is intended to be a regular yearly occurrence. Future festivals will be scheduled for different times of the year in new locations across the Savoyard area so that the full diversity of the region can be appreciated.

Saturday 25.04.2020

Morning, guided visit of Aix-les-Bains or Chambéry
Afternoon, possibility of a concert in an unusual place.
In the evening, concert of your group in a Aix-les-Bains (Duration: 45-60 minutes, according to the number of registered groups)
Accommodation.

Sunday 26.04.2020

In the late morning or early afternoon, gather all the formations for a short performance each (20 min maximum)
Closing concert, followed by 1 or 2 common song (s) and a friendly glass for everybody.
Program subject to climatic conditions (in or out) End of services and return home.

The program and concert venues of your group will depend on the number of registered groups. The places of concerts and hotels accommodation can be as well in Chambéry as in Aix-les-Bains.

The attractions of Savoie area are many historical, artistic and gastronomic. Dynamic region throughout the year, you will find tours that will make you appreciate this region and its inhabitants. We can organize city tours, monuments and churches, as well as visits to cheese factories or other local specialties.
