The International Festival of Choral Singing “Alta Pusteria”is held every year in June in the beautiful Val Pusteria Valley. Choirs from around the world will gather in June 2020 for the 20th edition of this Festival to share their passion for music in beautiful concert venues in the Val Pusteria region, between Bruneck (Italy) and Sillian (Austria) opposite the impressive mountains of South Tyrol. This festival is open to all non-professional groups and offers up to 6 performances (concerts in theaters, concert halls, churches in several small towns of the Val Pusteria region as well as a performance at an outdoor concert venue in the heart of the Dolomites).
Each choir has the opportunity to sing in between 3 to 6 concerts. The song choice is free, there is no set format and all musical periods and styles are accepted.
In addition, you will be able to hear the other performances through several concerts: the opening concert of the Festival, reception with “Fiesta di Benvenuto”, at the top of Plan de Corones (2275 m), the Tyrolean evening in Villabassa, “Parade” of the choirs in San Candido and the “Festa dell’Arrivederci” which will close the Festival.

Come and discover an unusual festival in the wild and romantic countryside of South Tyrol.
