Do you want to change your habits? Look forward to wonderful encounters with other choirs in Sicily! Enjoy this island of diverse cultures and landscapes, and discover ensembles from countries rich of different musical traditions. This international festival is dedicated to amateur choirs: polyphonic and gospel choirs; male, female and mixed choirs; as well as youth, Alpine, parish, and chilren’s choirs. You will have the opportunity to sing your songs and present your repertoire and culture or traditions before a warm audience. Three concerts will be held in beautiful Baroque churches in the Catania, Messina, Acireale, and Taormina area. Local Sicilian choirs will also be participating.

Each choir will present its own program (religious/sacred, given that the venues are churches). Choirs are expected to sing a cappella or with accompaniment—such as an organ or other musical instrument. A church organ should be available at each venue; if the church organ cannot be used, an electric piano will be provided instead. Choirs may also bring along any other musical instruments.

At the end of the festival, all the choirs will sing a joint piece, for which you will receive the sheet music. The choirs will be accommodated in 3-star or 4-star hotels on a half-board basis.

PROGRAM:

Friday 30.10.2026

Breakfast for the choirs already arrived the day before (extension 1 night). Arrival of all other choirs absolutely before 1:00 PM. Lunchtime at hotel.  Free afternoon. Dinnertime on you own. Evening: Opening concert  of the Festival with participation of local choirs. Overnight at hotel.

Saturday 31.10.2026

Breakfast at hotel. Morning at leisure. Possibility of organizing for you an excursion to Syracusa, Catana, Etna, Gole Alcantara…Lunchtime at hotel or packed-lunch. Evening: 2nd concert with participation of local choirs. Dinnertime at leisure. Overnight at hotel.

Sunday 01.11.2026

Breakfast at hotel. Morning at leisure. Possibility of organizing for you an excursion to Syracusa, Catana, Etna, Gole Alcantara…Lunchtime at hotel or packed-lunch. Evening: Closing concert of Festival with participation of local choirs. At the end of the concert, official presentation of the participating choirs to the local Authorities. Dinnertime at leisure. Overnight at hotel.

Monday 02.11.2026 

Breakfast at hotel. Departure of the choirs. According to the time of your depature, we can organize for you an optional excursion (on request). Transfer by loccal coach from hotel to airport of Catane.
