3rd edition of international choral festival in Romagna, Italy

The Emilia Romagna is a wonderful welcoming area, in constant balance between the rural spirit and the sea. The festival is a privileged place for the meeting of different musical and choral cultures. This festival is not a competition: it is dedicated to polyphonic choirs, Gospel, Women or Men, Mixed, Youth or Children… You will have the opportunity to present your program as well as your culture and traditions; religious/sacred register. You will describe the history of Romagna thanks to the cities and baroque churches in which you will sing: Rimini, Riccione, Cesena, Ravenna and Cesenatico, among others. Each choir can sing A Capella or accompanied by an organ or other musical instrument. At the end of the festival, all participants will sing together a song chosen by the organizers.

Program

Friday: arrival of groups (imperatively before 1 p.m.). Free lunchtime. Evening: 1rst concert in one of the local churches. Free dinnertime. Overnight at hotel.

Saturday : breakfast. Free morning (possibility of different visits or excursions, as San Marino, Bologna, Ravenna,little Italy, et… : on request). Free lunchtime. Evening: 2nd concert of festival in a baroque church. Free dinnertime. Overnight at hotel.

Sunday: breakfast. Free morning (different visits and excursions: on request). Free lunchtime. Evening: last festival concert gathering all choirs. At the end of the concert, official presentation of the choirs by the organizers, then common song. Free dinnertime. Overnight at hotel.

Monday: breakfast at hotel. According your time departure, possibiliy of an optional visit or excursion on the way back home (on request)
