Verona, one of the most beautiful cities of art in the Veneto, has inspired many artists and writers for centuries. Shakespeare chose this setting for one of his most famous love stories, Romeo and Juliet. But Verona is also worth a visit for its impressive remains from Roman times. The Arena is one example… It is in this magnificent place that the choirs will perform the common songs to close the event. Take part in the Verona Choral Competition and share your emotions in front of a jury in order to win a beautiful medal! Take the opportunity to visit Venice and the region.

Program 4 days / 3 nights

Dates : from Thursday 15.04.2027 to Sunday 18.04.2027

Day 1 – GARDA LAKE – VERONA – GARDA LAKE

Aarrival in the Southg of Garda Lake, welcome by your local assistante and accommodation at hotel.

Free dinnertime.
Evening, coach transfer to Verona for the Opening Ceremony with Concert (You will need a coach for this transfert go and return : with supplement)
Overnight at hotel.

Day 2 – GARDA LAKE – VERONE – GARDA LAKE

Breakfast at the hotel. Coach transfer to Verona.
Competition in Verona (coach transfer needed). According to the number of choirs, you will perform in the morning of in the afternoon.

Lunch at leisure in Verona.

Afternoon, guided walking tour of Verona by your assistance (She is not a qualified guide: if you need one, ask us for availabilities and supplement). You will discover the narrow streets of Verona, churches, Julietta House with its welknown balcony, the arenas…

Dinnertime at leisure.

Evening : we highly suggest you to participate in a friendly common concert with local choirs (you will need a coach for transfers)

Overnight at hotel.

Day 3 – GARDA LAKE – VERONA – GARDA LAKE

Breakfast at hotel.
Morning, transfer with local escort to Verona where choirs’ directors will meet the local authorities in the City Town Hall of Verona (the rest of the choir will have free time in the city during the meeting at the Ton Hall).

After the meeting, the official closing ceremony will take place in a theatre in the city of Verona It will be an award ceremony with trophies and plaques presented to all choirs with declaration of the winning choir. The ceremony is followed by performances of all choirs who have placed in the Gold category (please see competition rules).

At the end of the ceremony, all choirs will attend a lunch reception with snacks and beverages.

The closing ceremony will end with a grand procession through the city of Verona: all chois sing ensemble in the Roman Arena (or alternative venues) the following songs : « Va Pensiero /G. Verdi, « Ode à la Joie/ L. van Beethoven and « Amazing Grace » /J. Newton.
