34th  International Choral Advent and Christmas Music Festival & Competition in Prague: from Thursday 03.12.2026 to Sunday 06.12.2026

Enjoy Prague in all its glory by attending the 34rd International Advent and Christmas Music Festival with Petr Eben’s Prize, held on the first weekend of Advent in Prague. Open to amateur choirs (men, women, mixed and children), this festival, the oldest and most traditional in Europe, takes place in the exceptional setting of the city of Prague. The choirs must prepare an Advent and Christmas program for competition program according to their own choice, either A Cappella or with instrumental accompaniement. The best choir will be awarded the Petr Eben prize.

Programme (subject to any change due to number of choristers and choirs and organizational needs):

Thursday – Prague

Arrival by your own in Prague and accommodation at hotel.

Dinner.

Boat cruise on the Vltava river.

Overnight.

Friday – Prague

Breakfast at hotel

Morning, walking guided visit in Prague.

Lunchtime by your own

Official meeting with the representatives of the choirs at the Town Hall.

Competition.

Dinner. Overnight. at ho

Saturday – Prague

Breakfast at hotel

Concert outside in a Christmas Maket on the Old Square of the Town Hall. Commun song.

Lunchtime by your own

Competition.

Closing ceremony.

Dinner. Overnight.

Sunday – Prague – Back home

Breakfast at hotel
