Costa Brava: 8th International Festival

Costa Brava, a well-known touristic and cultural centre, hosts its 5th International Festival for Choirs and Orchestras in Lloret de Mar. The spring period of the year is ideal for sunshine at this location.Staying in a good quality 3 * hotel you will have the opportunity to meet both local & foreign musical groups that will also be taking part. Your main musical performance will last 30 to 45 minutes and your musical choice is entirely up to you.

Programme 5 days / 4 nights

Day 1 – COSTA BRAVA

Arrival in Spain with your coach. In Figueras, you can stop and visit the Dali Theater-Museum or Cadaqués / Portlligat, the House of Salvator Dali. (Entries and guided tour not included). Then, drive to Lloret de Mar and settle into the rooms.
Dinner and accommodation.

Day 2 – COSTA BRAVA

Breakfast. In the morning, guided tour of Lloret de Mar or its surroundings. Participation in a parade and concert performed by all choirs and orchestras.
Lunch and afternoon free time to explore.
Dinner and accommodation.

Day 3 – COSTA BRAVA – BARCELONA – COSTA BRAVA

Breakfast. Morning departure for a guided excursion in Barcelona with your coach. Visit of the city centre with the Gothic quarter, the Ramblas, the facades of the buildings built by Anton Gaudi, the Park Guell (entrance fee)
Lunch at the restaurant in Barcelona.
Return to the hotel in the afternoon. Meeting of the conductors of Choirs and Orchestras, rehearsal and participation in a concert.
Dinner and accommodation.

Day 4 – COSTA BRAVA

Breakfast. In the morning, accompanied excursion to Montserrat with your coach. Visit of the Abbey Santa Maria.
Lunch at the restaurant.
Return to the hotel in the afternoon. You will attend a concert given by other choirs.
Dinner and accommodation.

Day 5 – COSTA BRAVA – Back home

Breakfast.

Morning, departure with your coach and stop in Girona: guided tour. Free time for lunch.
End of our services.

Standard program, subject to modification by the organizer.
Visits can be reversed or modified depending on the final organization of the Festival.
The final program will be known about 3 weeks before the start of the Festival.
