International Festival and Competition for Choirs & Orchestras in Florence, Italy

10th edition – 25/28 July 2023

 

This event, open to all types of amateurs choirs and ochestras, takes place in the wonderfull Renaissance setting of Florence, an inimitable city famous throughout the world for its magnificent cultural and artistic heritage.

You will sing in prestigious places steeped in history in the city center, such as the Salone dei Cinquecento, the Auditorium of Santo Stefano at Ponte Vecchio and the magnificent Basilicas of Santa Croce, San Lorenzo, Ognissanti or Santa Trinita.

This Festival will allow you to spend an excellent stay in Tuscany and to celebrate Friendship, Music and the meeting of different cultures.

Possibility of extending your stay with a visit to Siena, San Giminiano, Fiesole, Chianti, Pisa or Arezzo.

Program:

25.07.2023

Arrival in Florence and accommodation in your rooms in or close to the city center.

9:00 p.m.: Opening ceremony, Basilica of Santa Trinita (or similar)

Dinner at the restaurant.

Night at the hotel.

 

26.07.2023

Breakfast.

Morning: Opening of the Competition and Festival for all groups and for the day.

Free lunch.

Guided walking tour of Florence (scheduled according to the order of your training)

Free dinner.

9 p.m.: concert in the Ognissanti church.

Night at the hotel.

 

27.07.2023

Breakfast.

Free morning for the free visit of Florence.

4:00 p.m.: Closing Ceremony with award ceremony in the Basilica of Santa Croce.

7:00 p.m.: Final concert bringing together all the choirs.

Dinner with the Jury for choir directors and Presidents (2 people per formation)

Dinner at the restaurant for your choir.

Night at the hotel.

End of services.
