International Choral & Music Festival in Montecatini Terme, Italy

Since years now, the Festival of Montecatini Terme in Italy is open to non-professional choirs and music groups: organizers want to involve a new impulsion to this festival due to this choral and musical association. Choirs who registered in 2023 were very happy to participate in this edition.

Organizers will reward the best choir by a certificate offered by the Academy of « Maggio Musicale Fiorentino ». Musicians of this Academy  will present their concert during the opening concert of the festival. A farewell dinner will be organized in a typical restaurant located in the surroundings of Montecatini.

Do prepare your choir for participating in this very nice & warm Festival and make friendship with the other participants for deep emotions!

Programme 4 days/3 nights:

Thursday 13.06.2024

Arrival in Montecatini Terme, wellcome by a local assistance at hotel.

Accommodation. Dinner at hotel.

Evening, official opening of the festival: torchlight parade. Welcome by the official representatives of the city of Montecatini Terme and the organizers of the festival. All choirs and musical groups will attend the opening concert of the prestigious musicians of the “Maggio Musicale Fiorentino”.

Overnight at hotel

Friday 14.06.2024

Breakfast at hotel.

Morning, concert of choirs & music groups in the music kiosque situated in the Thermal garden Tettucio (15 minutes including up and down stage – piano available on stage)

Lunchtime at your own.

Afternoon: in option, excursion in PISA or LUCCA, in option

Dinner. Evening concert on Piazza del Poppolo or similar in Montecatini

Breakfast at hotel

Full day excursion in Florence

Lunchtime at your own.

Evening, closing ceremony gathering all choirs and music groups, then dinner in a typical restaurant.
