6th International Christmas Spongs Festival in Malta

Dates: from 05th december to 09th december, 2024

Malta welcomes you to its Mediterranean peninsula to enjoy enthusiastic meetings with international amateur choirs: folk choirs, women’s choirs, men’s choirs, children’s choirs, mixed choirs. Each group can perform its own repertoire of Christmas songs, Gospel, sacred and traditional popular music, adapted to the sacred places in which you will perform them. You can sing “a cappella” or with musical instruments (piano, guitar, etc.). An organ or electric piano is available. A festival of unforgettable choral encounters in a place with a dense history and exceptional locations.

Thursday 05.12.2024 – Malta
Arrival by your own in Malta. Transfer to hotel. Meet your local assistance.
Dinner at hotel. Accommodation.

Friday 06.12.2024 – Malta
Breakfast at hotel. Free morning or excursion. Possibility of visiting Malta, La Valette capitale of Malta, Mdina the silent city…
Free lunchtime.
Evening: concert in one of the barok churches. Local choirs will participate too.

Free dinnertime. Transfer back to hotel. Accommodation.

Saturday 07.12.2024 – Malta
Breakfast at hotel. Free morning or excursion.
Free lunchtime.
Evening: concert in one of the barok churches. Local choirs will participate too.

Free dinnertime. Transfer back to hotel. Accommodation.

Sunday 08.12.2024 – Malta
Breakfast at hotel. Morning: participation in a Catholic Mass.
Free lunchtime.

Afternoon: possibility of singing in school of retirement House (upon request)
Evening: Final Concert in one of the barok churches. At the end of the concert, you will receive your certificats of participation in the presence of the local authoritie.

Free dinnertime. Transfer back to hotel. Accommodation.

Monday 09.12.2024 – Malta – Back home
Breakfast at hotel. Departure to airport and back home by your own. End of services.
