4th Choral Festival Mouv’Ton Choeur in Savoy, France – 07/09.04.2023

Mouv’ton Chœur, THE festival dedicated to choirs in movement, with a repertoire of pop songs, Vocal Jazz, pop rock, Gospel with staging of the choristers. Gestures or choreographies are compulsory. Open to amateur and semi-professional vocal groups, French, foreign. An innovative concept for a Festival combining voice and movement in an exclusively contemporary register!

You will sing at the Theater du Casino d’Aix-les-Bains and outdoors and you will meet all the choirs.

On the initiative of the sparkling Choir Master and Artistic & Musical Director Marie-Françoise Grasset and her association Accords d’Airs, here is coming the  4th edition of the Mouv’ton Chœur festival in Savoy.

Book the weekend of April 07-09, 2023! Are you a band, a choir or a troupe? Are you interested in participating in our next edition? Contact-us now, registrations are open.

Marie-Françoise Grasset confirms her desire to share everything she gives to her choirs and singers with this event that is waiting for you. She reminds us that by virtue of its “popular” side, choral singing, which carries values ​​and conviviality, is addressed to all choristers: lay people, initiates or professionals. Indeed, before “knowing” how to sing, one must “love” singing and sharing.

Come and present your repertoire by giving at least 2 concerts (including a 45 to 90-minute concert at the Theater of Aix-les-Bains) in front of the warm Savoyard audience! Share your joy of singing and moving to music with other French and foreign formations!

Performances: the formations will perform during shows “in” in the evening and “off” in the day, in Aix-les-Bains and Chambéry.

The festival will end with a large gathering of all the participants, organized at the end of the stay with a performance for each 15-minute training session outdoors, and finally, the interpretation of one or two common songs.

Evening, Opening Ceremony with a concert in Aix-les-Bains.

Back to hotel. Overnight.

 

Saturday 08.04.2023

Breakfast.

Morning, guided visit of Aix-les-Bains or Chambéry.

Free lunchtime.

Gathering of all the groups for a short performance each (15 min maximum) in Chambery and/or Aix-les-Bains.

Evening Concert in Aix-les-Bains.

Dinner or packed-lunch.

Overnight.

 

Sunday 09.04.2023

Breakfast.

Morning, program according to climate conditions. Gathering of all choirs and short performance each (15 min maximum) outdoor.

Afternoon, Final Concert.

End of festival and back to your home.

Attractions of Savoy are many, historical, artistic and gastronomic. A dynamic region throughout the year, you will find tours that will make you appreciate this region and its people. We can organize visits to town, monuments and churches, as well as visits to cheese dairies or other local specialties.
