International Choral Competition & Festival « Golden Voices » in Montserrat & Barcelone, Spain

The international “Golden Voices de Montserrat” Festival and Competition tales place on Costa Brava in Lloret del Mar. Since years, this event is open to choirs of each category. It is very well appreciated by a large international number of choirs.

The main points of the festival are the concert of the Competition, the concert performed in the monastery of Montserrat as well as the singing workshops organized for the Choir master.

Each choir will participate in one common performance which will take place in the Grand Place in Lloret del Mar. The registered choirs in the festival will performe themselves in different places in LLoret del Mar. The festival will end by a closing ceremony including the awards and a participation certificate.

You will meet choirs coming from all over the world and you will share unforgettable ane enjoyable moments.

Program 5 days / 4 nights

20.03.2022 to 24.03.2022

Day 1 – COSTA BRAVA 

Arrival at Lloret del Mar, check-in at hotel.

Dinner at hotel.

Evening, meet the festival organizers. 

Overnight at hotel.

Day 2 – COSTA BRAVA 

Breakfast at hotel.

Morning, free time for personal discovery of Lloret del Mar.

Lunchtime  at hotel.

Afternoon, rehearsal (in costumes) followed by the Competition Concert. The choirs registered at the Festival will sing in different places in Lloret del Mar.

Dinner at hotel.

Overnight at hotel.

Day 3 – COSTA BRAVA – Workshop and concert

Breakfast at hotel.

Morning, common workshop* organized by famous choir masters (for all participants).

Then, common rehearsal (1 piece).

Lunchtime at hotel.

Afternoon, common concert with all the choirs (1 piece) in front of the Town Hall.

Dinner at hotel. Overnight at hotel.

Possibility to attend a traditional flamenco show.

Day 4 – COSTA BRAVA – Excursion Montserrat and concert

Breakfast at hotel.

Morning, excursion with a coach to Montserrat Monastery (package lunch included).

Guided visit of the Montserrat Monastery. 

Afternoon, you will attend the concert of the famous Escalonia Choir.

Then, each choir will have the opportunity of singing in the Basilica of the Monastery Santa Maria of Montserrat (5 minutes per chorale, sacred music and A Capella only)

Back to Lloret del Mar.

Dinner at hotel.

Evening, Closure Concert performed by the winner. Then, awards ceremony. Each choir will receive a participation certificate.

Overnight at hotel.

Day 5 – COSTA BRAVA – Back home

Breakfast at hotel.

Back to your home. End of our services.

On request, we will be happy to help you plan your arrival before the start of the festival and / or extend your stay there. The program may be subject to changes necessary for the proper organization of the festival

* The master class is common to all participants. On request and at an additional cost, it is possible to organize a master class exclusively for your choir.
