3rd edition Competition & Festival Fun & Music in Florence, Italy

The 3rd edition of the Festival and Competition “Fun & Music” is a florentine event dedicated to choirs and orchestras. It is also open to groups of Jazz, pop & rock from the whole world.

This festival organized in Florence is truly a chance for you to present the traditional and contemporary music from your country. Each participant is invited to sing a programme corresponding to his or her own culture and music with the possibility of arrangements or original scores.

The general programme of the festival includes the multi-category competition with its international professional jury and joint concerts.

One concert will be performed in a magnificient Basilica in Florence where you will present a free program of songs.

The city of Florence is the perfect place to host this event: its extraordinary history, architecture and culture create a magical atmosphere unique to Florence. The beautiful locations of the concerts will contribute to the success of your performance.

Categories of the competition: 

Youth choirs or orchestras up to the age of 12, 16, 21 and 35 are welcome to ensure a young dynamic and representative of the current emulation of beautiful values among young people. Other groups, such as Gospel, Popular Songs, Folklore, Traditional Music, Jazz and Modern Music, Contemporary Music, Sacred Music, Song & Dance, are also represented.

Conditions of participation:

The programme for the competition must consist of a minimum of 3 pieces and a maximum of 15 minutes. The repertoire is free.

You can enter one or two categories.

The Jury, composed of renowned artists including choral conductors, opera singers, composers and instrumentalists, will evaluate the intonation, vocal production, interpretation and general artistic effect of the choir.

During a dinner reserved for choir conductors with the Jury in a typical restaurant in Florence, constructive exchanges between professionals will crown your choir’s stay.

Evening, Closing Ceremony of the festival and concert.

Day 4 – Florence – Back home

Breakfast.

Morning, back home. End of our services.
