10th International Competition & Festival for Choirs and Orchestras in Florence, Italy

This event, open to all types of amateur choirs and orchestras, takes place in the magnificent Renaissance setting of Florence, an inimitable city famous throughout the world for its magnificent cultural and artistic heritage.

You will sing in prestigious historic venues in the city center, such as the Salone dei Cinquecento, the Auditorium of Santo Stefano at the Ponte Vecchio and the magnificent Basilicas of Santa Croce, San Lorenzo and Santa Trinita. This Festival & Competition will allow you to have an excellent stay in Tuscany and to celebrate Friendship, Music and the meeting of different cultures.

Possibility of extending your stay with a visit to Siena, San Giminiano, Fiesole, Chianti, Pisa or Arezzo. The Competition categories will be quickly identified by the Florentine organizers with the rules specific to each category.

Evening, concert in Piazza Santa Croce.

Day 2 – FLORENCE

Breakfast at hotel.

Morning, walking guided visit of Florence.

Afternoon, Opening Ceremony of the Festival in the Salone dei Cinquecento.

Evening, concert in a church in Florence.

Free dinnertime.

Overnight at hotel.

Day 3 – FLORENCE

Breakfast at hotel.

Morning, Instrumental Competition in a church in Florence.

Free lunchtime.

Afternoon, Choral Competition in the Basilica Santa Trinita.

Free dinnertime.

Evening, concert in a church in Florence.

Overnight at hotel.

Day 4 – FLORENCE

Breakfast at hotel.

Free morning for a free visit of Florence.

Free lunchtime.

Afternoon, Closing Ceremony with awards in the Basilique Santa Croce.

Final Concert.

Dinner gathering all the choristers.

Overnight  at hotel.

Day 5 – FLORENCE

Breakfast at hotel. Check-out.

Extension of your stay or back home.
