Verona 2014 – Mixed Choir Grandvillard (Switzerland)

What will we remember from Verona 2014? First of all, the beauty of the Italian spring, despite a drop or two of rain, and the charming welcome of the Hotel du Lac in Bardolino. If there was to be a next time, we would probably set aside an extra day to better explore the surroundings. Then, the excellent level of the competition: placed in the silver category, it was a privilege for us to be able to hear the choirs which had won gold. And then, the concert with the “Tre Torri” choir from Tregnago. Despite some organizational problems and our late arrival on site, this eminently friendly and warm evening will remain etched in our memories and will certainly lead to a new meeting! We will also not forget our guide Ornella who, with her umbrella, her great energy and her long experience, managed to lead our somewhat unruly group without a hitch through the many points of the program!
