7th International Festival of Christmas songs in Malta

Malta welcomes you to its Mediterranean peninsula to enjoy enthusiastic meetings with international amateur choirs: folk choirs, women’s choirs, men’s choirs, children’s or adolescent’s choirs, mixed choirs. This festival is not a competition. Each group can perform its own repertoire of Christmas songs, Gospel, sacred and traditional popular music, adapted to the sacred places in which you will perform them. The concerts will take place in some of the most beautifull Baroque churches on the island: this may be taken in account for your song list. You can sing “a cappella” or with musical instruments (piano, guitar, etc.). An organ or electric piano is available.

 A festival of unforgettable choral meetings in a place with a dense History and exceptional locations.

Program of the festival:

Friday – Malta
Arrival of choirs in the morning and before 1:00pm. Meet your local assistance. Transfer from airport to hotel.
Buffet lunchtime at hotel (for choirs in half-board)

Free afternoon at disposal for any optional guided visit or excursion
Evening: concert in one of the barok churches. Local choirs will participate too.

Free dinnertime. Transfer back to hotel. Accommodation.

Saturday – Malta
Breakfast at hotel. Free morning or optional excursion.
Buffet lunchtime at hotel (for choirs in half-board)
Evening: concert in one of the barok churches. Local choirs will participate too.

Free dinnertime. Transfer back to hotel. Accommodation.

Sunday – Malta
Breakfast at hotel. Morning: participation in a Catholic Mass.
Buffet lunchtime at hotel (for choirs in half-board)

Afternoon: possibility of singing in a school of a retirement House (upon request)
Evening: Final Concert in one of the Baroque Churches. At the end of the concert, you will receive your certificats of participation in the presence of the local authority.

Free dinnertime. Transfer back to hotel. Accommodation.

Monday – Malta – Back home
Breakfast at hotel. Departure to airport and back home by your own. End of services.
