« Mouv’ ton Chœur », the Festival of the contemporary song to be seen and to be heard!

Mouv’ton Chœur, THE festival dedicated to choirs in movement, with a repertoire of Pop songs, Vocal Jazz, pop rock, Gospel WITH a gesture or choreography of choristers on stage. This is compulsory. Open to vocal groups, amateurs and mid-professional, French, foreign countries. A new concept for a  Festival gathering voice and movement in a exclusive contemporary repertoire!

Festival Mouv’Ton Choeur in Aix-les-Bains

From Friday 04.04.2025 to Sunday 06.04.2025

2 concerts in theatre of the Casino of Aix-les-Bains (Friday and Saturday evening at 8:00pm)

2 aubades in the kiosque close to the Town Hall of Aix-les-Bains and in the théâtre de Verdure, city center (Saturday 2:00-4:00pm and Sunday 10:00-12:00am)

At the initiative of the sparkling Choir Conductor and Artistic & Musical Director Marie-Françoise Grasset and her association Accords d’Airs, here is the 6th edition of the festival Mouv’ton chœur.

Marie-Françoise Grasset confirms her desire to share everything she gives to her choirs and singers with this event that is waiting for you. She reminds us that by virtue of its “popular” side, choral singing, which carries values ​​and conviviality, is addressed to all choristers: lay people, initiates or professionals. Indeed, before “knowing” how to sing, one must “love” singing and sharing.

Come and present your repertoire by giving at least 2 concerts (including a 45 to 90-minute concert at the Theater of Aix-les-Bains) in front of the warm Savoyard audience! Share your joy of singing and moving to music with other French and foreign formations!

The festival will end with a large gathering of all the participants, organized at the end of the stay with a performance outdoors, and finally, the interpretation of one or two common songs.

The highlight moments of the Mouv’Ton Choeur festival are: 2 public concerts at the Casino d’Aix-les-Bains theater (including a 45-90 minute participation for your training), 15-30 minutes aubade at Town Hall kiosque, 15-30 minutes during of the gathering of all the choristers before the friendship buffet.
