Lyon, Capital of the Gauls, Gastronomy and Singing
Lyon, an attractive city in the Rhône-Alpes region. This city endowed with two rivers, the Rhône and the Saône with their banks so different, seduces the visitor for the density and the diversity of its cultural heritage. Pleasant stay where culture, gastronomy and song are on the program. The beautiful city of Lyon and its rivers, offer you a multitude of visits thanks to themed circuits such as archaeological Lyon, Lyonnaise gastronomy, Old Lyon and Guignol, the Croix-Rousse district of the canuts and the magnificent Painted Wall dedicated to them, the Traboules, the Confluence, the places of Resistance and the Basilica of Fourvière. You will sing and meet a local choir in a church, a temple or in the beautiful Saint Jean cathedral in Vieux Lyon. You can also stroll around Place Bellecour and around the peninsula, whose building facades offer a certain charm.

Day 1 – Lyon
If arriving early in the afternoon, you can plan a city tour to familiarize yourself with the city (at an additional cost).
We offer the same city tour in the evening with the illuminations (with supplement).

Day 2 – Lyon
Breakfast.
Morning, guided tour of the Gallo-Roman quarter of the city with the arenas where Saint Blandine was martyred in the Amphitheater of the Three Gauls. Then, visit of the peninsula with Place des Terreaux and Place Bellecour.
Possibility of adding a visit to the Archaeological Museum.
Free lunchtime.
Afternoon, concert in a church or Protestant temple (subject to availability). Assistance included.

Day 3 – Lyon
Breakfast.
Morning, guided walking tour of Vieux Lyon, the Renaissance part. This is the classic visit par excellence where emotion is at the rendezvous with the Florentine courtyards, the Pink Tower, the Traboules, Saint John’s Cathedral and the silk scarf shops.
Free lunch. As an option, lunch in a “stopper” with Lyonnais dishes.
Afternoon, go up to Fourvière from where you will have a magnificent view of the city. Optional: the panoramic tour of the famous Painted Walls of Lyon.
Possibility of organizing a meeting with a local choir.
Dinnertime. Accommodation.
Day 4 – Lyon – Back home
Breakfast. End of our services and back home.
