36th International Competition & Festival Praga Cantat 2025 avec Grand Prix – Prague, République Tchèque

Participe in this marvellous event gathering lots of choirs in the Competion Praga Cantat with Grand Prix. This year, you can register in 3 different competition categories.

More than 950 choirs from 43 different countries have already participated in the 35 last editions. This event is open to all groups, as well as excellent as well at the beginning of its experience. You will present your programme in front of a Jury of experts who will evaluate your performance and will give you recommandations in order to help you in your progression.

 

Programme:

Thursday: arrival in Prague and accommodation at hotel. Evening, choir master + 1-2 people of each choir, will take part in the welcome reception. Free dinnertime. Overnight at hotel.

 

Friday: breakfast at hotel. 10:00am: Official Opening Ceremony of the Festival, concert of Choir Cancioneta Praga. Free lunchtime. Afternoon: competition in each categories and performance of the choirs which do not take part in the competition. 21:00pm : announcement of the selected choirs who will competete for the Grand Prix. Free dinnertime. Overnight at hotel.

 

Saturday: breakfast at hoyel. 9:00am: walking guided visit of Prague including the Castle of Prague (entrances and bus transport with supplement and on request). Free lunchtime. 14:00pm: Competition for Grand Prix (National House at Vinohrady). 8:00pm: Closing Ceremony and awards ceremony for choirs, compulsory pieces are sung together, performance of the Grand Prix winner. 9:00pm: following the closing ceremony, all choirs are invited to enjoy a farewell evening  with music and dance at the National House. Free dinnertime. Overnight at hotel.

 

Sunday: Breakfast at hotel. End of your stay and back home.
